How you can fly to Kumba with us
• First of all you have to contact us by email or using the online form.
• After that you have to fill in the Application Form and to send it to the email we will give to you.
The expiry date for the acceptance of the Application forms is placed to 3 months from the presumed day of the departure (for example: if the departure day is on the 1st of October, the expiry date is on the 30th of June).
Within the next 15 days from the expiry date, the applicants selected will receive an e-mail of confirmation including all the information they need about the trip. Moreover, their names will be communicated on the web-site, too.
• If your request is accepted, you will have to send, within 2 Months from the departure (delays are not admitted):
4 passport photos
statement of responsibility
a copy of your passport
a copy of the certificate of yellow fever vaccination
to the address we will send to you.
• Moreover, the following vaccinations are advised:
-yellow fever
-hepatitis B
-hepatitis A
-typhoid vaccination (or prophylaxis)
-meningococcal
-triple
-tetanus vaccination
-antimalarial outlined with mefloquine (prophylaxis)
Application Form
Application Forms must be filled in and sent by the online form within 2 months from the programmed date of departure. All the answers should be in English.
Health Insurance
The kumba Project’s Organizing Committee does not provide a personal health insurance to the participants.
We suggest that the participants should take care individually of their own personal health insurance(covering disease, accidents and death.)
In order to join a mission of the Kumba Project, you must sign the statement of responsibility attached below. Then you should send it (together with the rest of the documents required) to the address we will communicate to you.
